Willie here, today, I was looking for a recording device to record our garage jam sessions.
I jam with other musicians on a weekly basis. We live in West End, arguably a very creative, arty, musical and well connected suburb of Brisbane. A ton of passerbys will stand and listen. Some will even join in. On Saturdays, there is a famous local market, which attracts people from outside of the suburb as well. Just imagine an all ages jam, no rules, golden oldies for tunes and living in the present moment, enjoying the diversity of voices and sounds, coming together as one. So how hard could it be to find exactly what I need? I’m from the days of old where if you were lucky, you had a radio and if you could afford them Long Play (LP) records was the way you listened to music. So with the help of good old google, we used YouTube, online reviews, amazon and a learning community to find out what was most important to us and we found our winner. The 5 features we were looking for: Recording quality With a stand Compatible with any laptop (Windows or Apple) USB-C cord Portable, small enough to carry The bonus: Aesthetic/attractive

AuthorWe are a family of shopkeepers. We share our journey with the world, right from where we are. If we were to plot on a map where our family hails from, of course, the majority are from China and Indonesia, and now Australia, however we are still discovering the facts of our heritage so much is still unknown. We were raised in Darwin, Northern Territory, and when our ancestors arrived to Darwin, unfortunately, after the tropical cyclones Darwin is renowned for, a lot of our records disappeared. This journey we share is about documenting our lives now, for our next generations and also for providing the difference we want to make right now. Archives
